![]() ![]() ![]() His songs are just catchy as hell and that's why he deserves this position. I thought of Lil Yachty, Playboi Carti and this guy and i choose him, because Lil Yachty has a different type of rapping that a lot of people don't like and Playboi Carti only dropped 2 hits yet, and i think he will be a 2018 rapper.ħ-Kodak Black - The definition of mumble rapper, and not the term called rapper 10 years ago. ![]() He has a fanbase not as big as XXXTENTACION but it's still a big one. In 2018 he will be in the top 5 for sure.Ħ-Lil Pump - Ok so this guy is the definition of repeating lyrics, but it's catchy and the beat of his songs are "good". I think he is just on this position because he is a bit underrated.Ĥ- Lil Uzi Vert - Ok so this guy is a mumble rapper and bla bla, but he deserves his position, because he is making a lot of sucess in this year and just released a new album, that made him deserve the top 10.ĥ- XXXTENTACION - My favorite rapper, and before saying that he only has the LOOK AT ME F✬K ON ME song he doesn't, he dropped a album called 17, and his fanbase is one of the best from this list, he can make "savage songs" or "calm ones" for example the ImSippinTeaInYoHood and Jocelyn Flores. He is a rapper that his beat songs is normaly more of a old school type of beat, and his lyrics are just great. Cole's album 4 Your Eyez, everyone started knowing who he is. They released a album too, and collaborated in a lot of another rappers songs.ģ- J. I made this list not of the best rappers, but:Ĥ0% - How well-known are them IN 2017 / they're fanbase (so don't comment eminem or rappers like that)ģ0% - If they are talented and can make "different types of songs" (basically if you hear like 4 songs of them and you just fell like they're the same that means they are just a rapper that says: ay ay ay ay ay ay, i like jake paul, ay ay ay)ģ0% - This section includes several things: how many songs they have, can they "freestyle", are they bars good.ġ - Kendrick Lamar - I mean this is obvious, he released a new album and it just blew up.Ģ- Migos - This was the best rap group of this year and when I here say migos i'm speaking of Quavo, Takeoff and Offset, about them being a group and solo artists. You can watch the visuals for the song in the video below.Disclaimer - before someone starts saying: "you♥♥♥♥♥you have a lil uzi vert profile pic pliz kys n00ne laiks you, that's a mumble rapper". The former 2018 XXL Freshman has just released a new track also. So, Wayne, Drake, I gotta put André 3000 in there. Speaking to XXL, when asked who his favourite rappers were the rapper quickly reeled off the first artists that came to his mind saying, “Aight, Lil Wayne, Drake… I’m a just say everything I really listen to…Like, the most music I’ve ever listened to from an artist… These gotta be my favourites because I clearly listen to them more than everybody else. However, regardless of whether or not mumble rap is still alive, Trippie Redd still has a cult fan base and has millions of fans listening to his music, so when he named his favourite five rappers in an interview with XXL, fans were compelled to see who they were. Many say that after his snitching and return, followed by his retirement that 6ix9ine took the whole genre of cloud rap down the drain with him. He also broke the YouTube record for the most-watched hip hop video in 24 hours. Upon his release in 2020, the rapper broke the Instagram record for the number of people he had in his life as he attracted over 2 million users to his profile to see what he was going to say during his Instagram live, fresh from prison after snitching. However, many believe that with his case consistently in the blogs, all eyes were on 6ix9ine as his case developed, and people forgot about other spitters while fixated on the ‘Gummo’ rapper. When Tekashi 6ix9ine was in his prime around 2018, he was unstoppable, annihilating all of the other new school rappers, and had one hundred per cent of the limelight. However, many commentators and observers of hip hop culture have declared that mumble rap and cloud rap are dead due to Tekashi 6ix9ine. Now, having recently released his track ‘Ain’t Safe’ featuring Don Toliver, it looks as if the rapper is back and ready to see the charts again. ![]()
